So here is the new Condor Leggero, in carbon fibre, on its inaugural ride this evening. Oh and one happy rider. After ritual admiration from such family as is not currently gallivanting (that is to say Sarah and Lucy) and a careful rehearsal of unclipping from the new pedal system I took it for an 8km spin in the beautiful evening light. It really does move when you turn the pedals - instant acceleration. I had never experienced before the immediacy of effort transfer. The Col de Ickleton will never be the same again.

Photo credit to Lucy - Graham Watson's days are clearly numbered.

What a magnificent machine, and the bike is not bad too. xx

David and Sarah, it was such a pleasure sharing the Milford Track with you. Thanks for coming all this way and getting us to do the tramp. Such positive fellow trampers! Stuart and Phyllis
